Membership Criteria

Indigenous Regular Members

Eligibility: Supply chain companies (construction, manufacturing, engineering, or other) with:

  • At least 51% Indigenous ownership, Indigenous communities / owned businesses, or Economic Development companies.
  • Verification with a Metis or Treaty card

Primary Value:

  • Access to programming / events.
  • One (1) vote at Annual General Meetings.
  • Eligible for election to the Board of Directors.

    Annual Fee: $350 OR Pre-pay option – pay for four (4) years of membership @ $1,400 in advance and receive five (5) years of benefits (All fees plus applicable taxes).

    Associate Members

    Eligibility: Non-Indigenous companies and individuals who support our Industry, including supply chain companies that do not meet the above criteria (e.g., For profit companies).

    • Must have one of the following: Indigenous Procurement Plan (IPP) or a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) publicly displayed.

    Primary Value:

    • Newsletter spotlights, sponsorship opportunities, marketing space at events, tickets to IMCN Connect
    • All membership privileges, except the right to vote.

      Annual Fee: $500 OR Pre-pay option – pay for four (4) years of membership @ $2,000 in advance and receive five (5) years of benefits (All fees plus applicable taxes).

      Reciprocal Members

      Eligibility: Organizations that share a similar mission (Non-Profit Associations, Chamber of Commerce, or Educational Institutions, etc.). Companies in mutually beneficial arrangements aimed at expanding network benefits without added costs.

      Primary Value: Negotiated benefits for collaboration and growth.

      Annual Fee: Membership fee to be determined based on discussion with IMCN.

      Membership applications will be subject to approval by a majority vote of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, at their sole discretion, at a meeting which has reached quorum.
