The Indigenous Manufacturing and Contracting Network (IMCN) invites proposals from qualified Indigenous consultants to conduct an Indigenous Economic Impact Analysis.
This project aims to evaluate the direct, indirect, and induced economic impacts of Indigenous participation in the industrial economy. The resulting analysis will inform policy, investment, and partnership strategies to strengthen Indigenous involvement in Canada’s industrial sectors.
The final report will be shared with stakeholders across the country, contributing valuable insights to support Indigenous business growth and community prosperity.
The successful proponent will be expected to apply a socio-economic lens to the analysis, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative measures. This includes assessing:
Employment equity and workforce participation
Income gaps and economic opportunity
Community well-being and sustainability indicators
Broader social impacts, such as improved health, education, and reduced reliance on social programs linked to Indigenous economic participation
This opportunity is open to Indigenous-owned and operated consulting firms or individual consultants with demonstrated experience in:
Economic and data analysis
Indigenous community engagement
Policy or socio-economic research
Proposals must be submitted no later than October 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM CST.
